A pensioner who died after being trampled in the street by a runaway cow has been remembered as a "much-loved" grandfather. Huw Evans, 75, was "attacked" by a cow that escaped from a livestock market in Carmarthenshire at about 10.15am November 19, Dyfed-Powys Police said. Mr Evans, from Whitland, was airlifted to the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff after being injured, but he died six days later. His family have paid tribute to Huw saying he was "loved by many". In a statement, his family said: “Huw was a loved dad, dadcu, brother, uncle, and friend to many. "We would like to thank the community for their support and well wishes while Huw was in hospital and since his passing.
