Life changed for the better when the Delhi High Court employed Nasreen and she could afford a roof over her head. In 2017, the Delhi High Court provided contractual employment to five acid attack survivors and a transgender person after their struggles were highlighted before the then Acting Chief Justice Gita Mittal. Russia has opened a long-anticipated new phase of the war in Ukraine , launching its eastern offensive in a bid to seize the country's industrial heartland. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov confirmed the move Tuesday , saying the Kremlin's goal was to achieve the “full liberation of the Donetsk and Luhansk republics,” which together make up the Donbas region. A kickboxer addicted to bakewell tarts and energy drinks was given a harsh wake-up call after experts warned him that his body was "eating itself". Jake Instrell, who weighed just 8st 3lbs, had dreams of becoming a professional kickboxer and trained up to five times a week. However, his sugary addiction made that dream nearly impossible as his body was "deficient in nearly everything". Jake drank almost six energy drinks a day, skipped breakfast and admitted that if he didn't drink them that he would probably collapse.
