Shortly after protesters clashed with Donald Trump supporters Thursday night in San Jose, California, conservatives began blaming liberals for rioting against a presidential candidate. Liberals pointed a finger at the Republican presumptive nominee for his incendiary rhetoric and the violence of his own supporters. It's a cycle that seems likely to continue until November's election. Jim Geraghty, conservative blogger and National Review contributor, recently compared the demonstrators' rhetoric and signs at Trump rallies to those seen at Occupy Wall Street, with the Black Lives Matter movement and at the World Trade Organization protests that rocked Seattle in 1999. "There seems to be this sense in some newsrooms that left-wing protests are somehow inherently less violent, and if there is violence, it's somehow justified or understandable as a reaction to provocation from the right," he said in May. The post-rioting blame game extended to the East Coast Friday afternoon when … [Read more...] about Who’s to blame for the rioting at Donald Trump rallies?

Ukrainian defenders light up sky with flurry of rockets
Ukrainian defenders fired a flurry of rockets into the night sky to extend what they called a "fiery greeting" to their Russian counterparts. The attack was reportedly carried out by members of the 59th Motorized Brigade, named after Yakov Gandziuk, a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. The Ukrainian military said they sent a "fiery greeting" to the Russians to show them how "brightly Ukrainian artillery shines" in the night sky. In the official footage, defending soldiers are seen sending a barrage of rockets into the air from the safety of their foxhole. The Ukrainian Center for Strategic Communications (StratCom) said on May 26: "That's how brightly Ukrainian artillery shines for the occupiers! "The fiery greeting was conveyed to the enemy by the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Gandziuk. "We never get tired of looking at the work of our defenders, we believe in the Armed Forces." In related news, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky … [Read more...] about Ukrainian defenders light up sky with flurry of rockets
Asus 8z Review: Compact, Powerful and Priced Right
The Asus 8z is a bold smartphone from Asus, which is known for high-end gaming laptops and smartphones. It comes with a 5.9-inch screen and Qualcomm’s erstwhile flagship Snapdragon 888 that still powers many premium smartphones like Galaxy Z Fold 3, the OnePlus 9 series, and more. Due to its small, compact form factor, many even called it ‘the iPhone 12/13 mini’ of the Android world. The analogy is partly accurate since the Asus 8z is still a thick device that measures 8.9mm. The iPhone 13 mini, on the other hand, features a relatively smaller 5.4-inch display, but it is far slimmer at 7.65mm. If we keep these measurements aside, Asus is clever enough to know that there still exists a market for compact smartphones. We received the Black colour model for review, and customers can choose the silver colour variant. The phone has a sole 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant that costs Rs 42,999 on Flipkart. In case you’re wondering, the phone’s direct competitor, the iPhone 13 mini, costs … [Read more...] about Asus 8z Review: Compact, Powerful and Priced Right
How Sleep is Linked with Hypertension? Best Sleeping Position to Lower High Blood Pressure
People who have high blood pressure (hypertension) must pay special attention to the quality of their sleep. Although the specific relationship between sleep and hypertension is unknown, lack of sleep or interrupted sleep might trigger or worsen hypertension, as per a research published in the Journal of Clinical Sleep Medicine. As per the aforementioned study, if you are already suffering from hypertension, poor sleep quality may aggravate it. Sleep is the body’s natural way of getting rid of stress hormones, which are known to elevate blood pressure. When you don’t get enough good quality sleep, your hormone levels rise, which causes inflammation, which ultimately leads your blood vessels to shrink and causes high blood pressure. Aside from all of this, the posture in which you sleep is also a key part of lowering your blood pressure and benefiting your general health. What are the Best Hypertension Sleeping Positions? Salvador Ramos arrested 4 years ago for planning attack at 18—Texas Rep.
Salvador Ramos, the teenage gunman who killed 21 people including 19 children on Tuesday at Uvalde's Robb Elementary School, had been arrested four years ago for planning to shoot up a school when he turned 18 years old, Texas Representative Tony Gonzales said. In an interview with Fox News on Friday morning, Gonzales claimed the shooter was arrested when he was 14 "for saying, you know, when I'm a senior in 2022, I am going to shoot up a school." Gonzales' claim has not been confirmed by any official source. Authorities have previously said Ramos had no criminal record and no documented history of mental illness. The Republican congressman said the claim was not "hearsay" but information that he was given "late last night." He did not specify where he got the information from. "Something fell between the cracks between then and now to allow this to happen. We need to shake out all the facts. We need to figure out what happened. Where the holes and we need to make sure it … [Read more...] about Salvador Ramos arrested 4 years ago for planning attack at 18—Texas Rep.

Ukrainian troops got acquainted with a British-made FH70 howitzer as they discharged it over a field in their embattled country in video released by Ukrainian military officials. Zenger News obtained the footage Friday from Operational Command West (OC West), a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces in western Ukraine with headquarters in Rivne.
