A third federal judge on Tuesday ruled against the Trump administration's campaign to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program for undocumented immigrants, ordering the administration to not only continue processing applications but also to resume accepting new ones.U.S. District Judge John Bates of the District of Columbia Circuit was withering in his 60-page ruling, calling the administration's attempts to end the program, known as DACA, "arbitrary," "capricious," "virtually unexplained" and "unlawful."Bates stayed the ruling for 90 days to give the Department of Homeland Security time to come up with better arguments for scrapping the program. A private funeral for Joe Jackson was held at Forest Lawn in Glendale, California Monday, E! News reported. Family members, including Janet Jackson, were spotted at the funeral. Jackson's son, Michael Jackson, was also laid to rest at Forest Lawn following his death in 2009. Jackson passed away on June 27 at the age of 89 while in hospice care in Las Vegas, the Clark County coroner confirmed to E! News. After news of the music mogul and Jackson family patriarch's passing was announced last week, his loved ones began to publicly mourn his death. The body of a 41-year-old hiker from Virginia was found on Mount Whitney after a three-day search in snowy, icy terrain of California's tallest peak, authorities said Wednesday. An air search located the body of Ling Dao on the north side of the 14,505-foot mountain in Sequoia National Park, according to a statement from the Inyo County Sheriff's Office. "What helped to locate him was his bright orange jacket," which was spotted from the search helicopter, said Sintia Kawasaki-Yee, spokeswoman for Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Dao was last seen alive at the summit by other hikers June 12, who informed authorities of the location which ultimately led them to his body about 1,900 feet from the summit at an altitude of about 12,600 feet, Kawasaki-Yee said.
