Viet Nam News HÀ NỘI — Vietnam International Bank (VIB) has launched a new security solution named MyVIB Smart OTP for online payments, including Internet Banking and Mobile Banking. VIB is the first bank in Việt Nam to apply the technology solution that does not require mobile phone service, enabling customers who travel or work abroad to make quick banking transactions without using roaming plans. With VIB’s Smart OTP application, customers do not need to open the app to get OTP, they just need to enter the PIN of the MyVIB Smart OTP app directly. The OTP will then be automatically filled in. Therefore, customers do not have to move between applications while making transactions as well as remember the OTP, helping them save time. In addition, MyVIB Smart OTP can identify high value transactions and provide appropriate advanced OTP. Hence, the protection ability for transactions is improved. IRAN'S nuclear deal is "vital" to Britain's national security and the UK won't walk away from it, Boris Johnson has promised. The Foreign Secretary said it was up to Donald Trump to sort out a long-term solution to Iran's nuclear threat after the US President pulled out of the agreement yesterday. VietNamNet Bridge - The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) has announced its findings about inspections of airlines’ compliance with laws on securing customer privacy. The inspections were conducted at Vietnam Airlines (VNA), Vietjet (VJ) and Jetstar Pacific (JPA). Airlines are using different booking systems Inspectors found that air carriers are using different booking, seat reservation and ticket sale systems. VNA is using a system provided by SABRE Airlines Solution, a prestigious booking software provider. VNA has also set up programs to supervise the activities of computer users and control access to the booking and reservation system. However, the national flag air carrier still cannot fully prevent exposure of passengers’ information.
