JugJugg Jeeyo deals with various topics like infidelity, difficult marriages, and divorce. How do you personally look at these subjects? I would like to look at it from a different perspective and from a woman’s point of view. I feel if a woman is unhappy in her marriage and if she finds it is torturous living with the man, it is better she separates from him. Why go through this torture? She keeps suffering because now there are children in their lives but then how much can she suffer and sacrifice her happiness. But I have seen that today’s women are very strong. Brit engineer ‘knows where missing MH370 plane is’ – but says some ‘don’t want it found’
An MH370 expert has claimed he knows the exact location of the lost plane. All 239 passengers and crew on board the Malaysia Airlines flight vanished along with the plane on March 8, 2014. British aerospace engineer Richard Godfrey claims he has narrowed down the search area for the aircraft to just 115 square miles, the Daily Star reports. Poll: Majority of New Hampshire Residents Do Not Want Biden to Run Again
Most New Hampshire residents do not want President Joe Biden to run for reelection in 2024, a University of New Hampshire/Granite State Poll released this week revealed. Overall, the survey found that 65 percent do not want Biden to run again in 2024. Of those, 52 percent “definitely” do not want him to run. This reflects a 12-point increase from the 53 percent who said the same nearly a year ago, in July 2021. Currently, 29 percent say they want Biden to run, but of those, only 9 percent “definitely” want him to run. Again, that reflects an eight-point drop from the 37 percent who expressed support for Biden running for reelection in July 2021. Further, the survey found that the number of Granite State Democrats wanting Biden to run has dropped, plummeting from 74 percent in July 2021 to 54 percent in June 2022. Just ten percent of Republicans and nine percent of independents want to see Biden run again in 2024. Coinciding with that is the fact that Biden remains widely … [Read more...] about Poll: Majority of New Hampshire Residents Do Not Want Biden to Run Again

Farmers want farm loan delinked from CIBIL score
Pressing for their long-pending demand to delink CIBIL score for extending agricultural loan, farmers will lay siege to the Reserve Bank of India office in Bengaluru on Tuesday. Kurubur Shanthakumar, president, Karnataka Sugarcane Cultivators Association, told media persons here on Saturday that farmers are facing difficulties in availing institutional credit from the government as bank officials seek their CIBIL score before approving a loan. As a result a majority of the farmers are unable to avail institutional credit and end up in the clutches of private money lenders paying exorbitant rate of interest, he added. Mr. Shantakumar said farmers at times are unable to repay their principle and interest either due to drought, floods or crop loss because of other causes. Hence they may end up missing a few instalments in loan repayment but that is held against the farmers and is reflected in the CIBIL score which has a direct bearing on securing institutional loans, he added. … [Read more...] about Farmers want farm loan delinked from CIBIL score
Mass same-sex wedding in Mexico challenges discrimination
This is a carousel. Use Next and Previous buttons to navigate 27 MEXICO CITY (AP) — Even after five years of living together in the Pacific resort city of Acapulco, something as simple as holding hands or sharing a kiss in public is unthinkable for Dayanny Marcelo and Mayela Villalobos. There is an ever-present fear of being rejected or attacked in Guerrero, a state where same-sex relationships are not widely accepted and one of five in Mexico where same-sex marriage is still not allowed. But this week they traveled the 235 miles (380 kilometers) to Mexico’s capital, where the city government hosted a mass wedding for same-sex couples as part of celebrations of LGBT Pride Month. Under a tent set up in the plaza of the capital’s civil registry, along with about 100 other same-sex couples, Villalobos … [Read more...] about Mass same-sex wedding in Mexico challenges discrimination
Religious schools may face another hurdle to state tuition
AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) — Religious schools got what they wanted when the Supreme Court allowed them to participate in a state tuition program. But the state attorney general said the ruling will be for naught unless the schools are willing to abide by the same antidiscrimination law as other private schools that participate in the program. An attorney for the families criticized the “knee-jerk” comments, and the leader of a religious group predicted further litigation. The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that Maine can't exclude religious schools from a program that offers tuition for private education in towns that don’t have public schools. But religious schools didn't have long to savor their victory before learning of a new hurdle. Attorney General Aaron Frey said both Christian schools involved in the lawsuit have policies that discriminate against students and staff on a basis of sexual orientation or gender identity, preventing their participation in the tuition program … [Read more...] about Religious schools may face another hurdle to state tuition
What does the Roe v Wade Supreme Court ruling mean for British women?
On the way into work early this morning I checked the headlines and felt like I’d been punched in the stomach. Millions of women will today be feeling the same. The ricochet of the overturning of Roe v Wade can be felt globally. For, on the surface of things, while this “only” appears to affect America, in truth it affects us all. The gradual dominance of conservative ideals in the US in recent years mirrors, in many ways, what can be already seen in so-called “modern” Britain: we are living through a time which is more focused on the crackdown on civil liberties than on protecting human rights ; where we can see, clear as day, the “othering” of disenfranchised communities through odious legislation such as the Nationality and Borders Bill . We have plans from our own government to send vulnerable refugees over to Rwanda , a failure to ban trans conversion therap y , the deliberate stoking of “culture wars” and straw man arguments used to perpetuate a … [Read more...] about What does the Roe v Wade Supreme Court ruling mean for British women?
