Crime has spiked in Washington, DC, in recent months after Biden-appointed United States Attorney for the District of Columbia, Matthew Graves, refused to prosecute 67 percent of those arrested who would have been put on trial in the D.C. Superior Court, according to 2022 District statistics. Among those Graves declined to prosecute were some 52 percent of all felony arrests, along with 72 percent of misdemeanor arrests, the U.S. Attorney’s Office Annual Statistical Reports revealed. Graves, who was nominated by President Joe Biden on July 26, 2021, and confirmed on October 28, 2021, admitted to the Washington Post the lack of prosecutions has mostly applied to those arrests for gun possession, drug possession, and burglaries. He said he mostly prosecutes those who were charged with homicides, armed car-jackings, assaults with intent to kill, and first-degree sexual assault cases. As the Biden crime wave surges across the nation, police say a father was fatally shot … [Read more...] about Biden-Appointed DA Declined to Prosecute 67% of Those Arrested in DC

Democrats pressure Biden to shift U.S. policy toward Israel
President Joe Biden is facing pressure from members of his own party to "undertake a shift in U.S. policy" to investigate Israel's new far-right government, according to a draft of a letter obtained by Newsweek . The letter, written by Democratic Representative Jamaal Bowman , urges "immediate action" against the administration of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu , whose cabinet members "are pushing repressive, anti-democratic policies and escalating violence towards the Palestinian population." So far, it has been signed by nine other congressional progressives, including Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez , Rashida Tlaib, Ilhan Omar , Ayanna Pressley , Cori Bush , Summer Lee, Andre Carson and Betty McCollum, as well as Senator Bernie Sanders , who is mustering support for the effort in his chamber. Rep. Reschenthaler Roasts Biden’s Interior Secretary
Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Guy Reschenthaler roasted President Joe Biden’s interior secretary, who appeared unprepared for the straightforward questioning, as he called out the current administration’s failed Green New Deal policies and rush-to-green agenda which he accused of deepening America’s dependence on China. During a House Appropriations Subcommittee hearing on Tuesday, Chief Deputy Whip Rep. Guy Reschenthaler (R-PA) clashed with U.S. Secretary of the Interior Deb Haaland as he questioned the role of the Biden administration’s climate agenda in strengthening Communist China. During the exchange, the former New Mexico congresswoman admitted to supporting the Green New Deal, but attempted avoiding answering whether she was aware that the Green New Deal bans fracking and clean coal. Despite cosponsoring the bill, Haaland said she’d “be happy to look it up and refresh my memory on the bill.” “I sponsored and cosponsored a lot of bills when I was in Congress,” … [Read more...] about Rep. Mayorkas Lobbies Senate to Give Green Cards to Biden’s Afghans Despite Vetting Failures
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas is lobbying Senators to give green cards to tens of thousands of Afghans brought to the United States by President Joe Biden despite allegations of widespread vetting failures. Following the U.S. Armed Forces’ withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021, Biden opened a refugee pipeline that has resettled more than 86,000 Afghans in American communities — many without having to be screened or interviewed in person beforehand. Late last year, a group of Republican Senators worked with Democrats in an attempt to slip the Afghan Adjustment Act into a year-end defense spending bill that would have provided green cards to Afghans brought to the U.S. as part of Biden’s withdrawal. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), though, successfully blocked the effort. WATCH — Sec. Blinken: Most Afghans Not Vetted Before Getting on Planes US Senate Committee on Foreign Relations This week, Mayorkas was back on Capitol Hill, … [Read more...] about Mayorkas Lobbies Senate to Give Green Cards to Biden’s Afghans Despite Vetting Failures
Exclusive — Cotton: Biden Should Invite Netanyahu to White House
Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) is calling on Democrat President Joe Biden to invite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House for a formal visit. “The president should invite Prime Minister Netanyahu to the White House,” Cotton told Breitbart News in an interview on Wednesday afternoon. “He’s one of our closest partners in the world.” Cotton’s direct call on Biden to invite Netanyahu to the White House comes after Biden this week contradicted the U.S. Ambassador to Israel, Tom Nides, by saying Netanyahu will not be invited to the White House anytime soon, citing concerns over Israel’s judicial reforms that are under consideration. Cotton told Breitbart News there seems to be something more sinister going on here, where Biden seems to be continuing what Cotton says has been a decades-long effort by U.S. Democrats dating back to the 1990s under former President Bill Clinton and earlier this century under former President Barack Obama to undercut Netanyahu. ‘Utterly Disgraceful’: Cruz Slams Biden for Shunning Israeli PM Netanyahu
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) on Wednesday slammed President Joe Biden for saying earlier this week that he would not invite Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to the White House and for meddling with Israel’s internal affairs. “Utterly disgraceful. Biden gleefully hosts anti-American radicals like Lula, while shunning close American allies like Netanyahu,” Cruz posted on Twitter. “It’s clear that Biden and his officials are high from funding what they believe to be successful anti-government protests in Israel,” added Cruz, who is a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Biden Blames Climate Change For Burned Out Forests — But His Admin Caused One Of The Biggest Wildfires In History
President Joe Biden blamed climate change and Mother Nature’s “wrath” for wildfires in the past two years in an interview with The Daily Show Monday, failing to note that a historic blaze in New Mexico was started by his administration. “Mother Nature let her wrath be seen over the last two years,” said Biden, apparently referencing the above-average number of acres burnt in the 2022 wildfire season. “For example, I have travelled on helicopter over more forest area burned to the ground than the entire state of Maryland.” The president toured the Caldor wildfire in California by helicopter in 2021, but opted to fly by New Mexico’s Hermit’s Peak fire, the largest in the state’s history, in Air Force One, according to Reuters. The U.S. Forest Service (USFS) issued a report in June taking responsibility for the Hermit’s Peak fire, which grew out of control from a controlled burn initiated by the USFS, according to The Washington Post. The USFS report concluded that … [Read more...] about Biden Blames Climate Change For Burned Out Forests — But His Admin Caused One Of The Biggest Wildfires In History

Newsom Finally Asks Biden for Disaster Aid for Pajaro — Three Weeks Late
California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) finally requested a federal disaster declaration and relief aid from President Joe Biden for residents of the town of Pajaro on Tuesday — three weeks after a levee broke and flooded the area. Newsom has been under withering criticism from residents of the predominantly Latino area, after he made promises of $42 million in aid that turned out to be just $300,000 left over from Trump-era COVID relief. Relief workers were furious at the deception, and relatives filled town hall meetings to jeer at the governor and other local officials. Newsom had specifically promised to ask Biden for the aid, and took weeks to deliver . His request covers several counties in the state, including Monterey County, in which Pajaro is located. The sticking point for state officials had apparently been that the number of structures damaged in the flood — several hundred — was less than the threshold of 1,200. But that was little consolation to residents without … [Read more...] about Newsom Finally Asks Biden for Disaster Aid for Pajaro — Three Weeks Late
