John Erik Wagner wants voters to know two things: 1) he is running for prime minister and 2) he is proud of his penis. He doesn’t stand a chance of winning, but say this for John Erik Wagner: the man’s got balls. Although to be fair, they aren’t on full display along with his penis in election posters that can be spotted all throughout Copenhagen. If you're not offended by a bit of nudity, you can see the full, uncensored picture here. Wagner is running for prime minister as an independent and has a history of displaying a shall we say unconventional approach to politics. The 52-year-old from the Copenhagen district of Amager has been running in parliamentary, local and regional elections since 2005. Most of that was with little attention but that changed in 2013 when he burst onto the stage in his customary cowboy get-up during a live televised municipal election debate to protest the exclusion of smaller parties. “Why should we [smaller parties] sit … [Read more...] about Denmark’s most WTF NSFW campaign poster
Want to know how women are treated in Sweden after they decide to have a baby? This video by Swedish Centre Party leader Annie Lööf gives you a few clues. After leaving her post for six months to stay at home with her baby girl Ester (a move which barely raised an eyebrow among Sweden's mainstream political parties), Lööf is seen power walking back into her office to unseat her temporary replacement Anders W. Jonsson. Jonsson, a former doctor in his fifties, who took over most of Lööf's duties during her maternity leave is shown chewing on an apple and flicking through magazines with this feet up ahead of his boss' arrival. He also appears to have covered up photos of Lööf – including one of her meeting President Obama, with snaps of himself. But 32-year-old Lööf swiftly returns to her desk, as the spoof film blasts out dramatic film-score style music along with the words "Now. She. Is. Back." The video, which was made by the … [Read more...] about Spoof video proves just how gender equal Swedes are
Dagens Nyheter (DN) claims that the the threat and its nature have been classified as top secret, meaning the contents cannot be disclosed without a government decision to declassify it. Since the summer both Sweden's Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Micael Bydén and defence minister Peter Hultqvist have spoken of a worsening security situation for the country. At the same time, leaders in the Armed Forces decided that unannounced inspections of their units' readiness would be carried out, while they also sent 150 soldiers from central Swedish town Skövde to train on Gotland off the east coast. Last Wednesday, the Supreme Commander ordered the soldiers to stay put on the island, bringing forward a previous decision to station soldiers on the strategically located island from late 2017. “Something has happened in the intelligence picture, but we citizens don't know what. We can see the effects of it however. The rapid basing of a unit on Gotland is … [Read more...] about Did Russian ‘threat’ lead to Swedish troops on Gotland?

Reilly WASHINGTON ― President Donald Trump headlined a White House event on Tuesday that was originally intended to celebrate the Super Bowl Champion Philadelphia Eagles but didn’t feature any Eagles players and was attended by few Eagles fans. In a statement, the White House said that “more than 1,000 Eagles fans” were supposed to show up to the original event and said the majority of Eagles players “decided to abandon their fans.” And so hundreds of individuals ― … [Read more...] about Not Many Eagles Fans Showed Up To Watch Donald Trump Sing The National Anthem
