Police investigating the disappearance of a man thought to have fallen from a boat off the Dorset coast have found a body. Authorities said while formal identification is yet to take place, the remains are believed to be those of David Haw. The 24-year-old, from Sussex, had been missing since police received a report in the early hours of Bank Holiday Monday, May 2, that he had fallen off a rigid inflatable boat (Rib) in Poole Harbour. Today Dorset Police said they received a report at 1.37pm that a body had been found in the water in the harbour. Police said an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident, led by Dorset Police's Major Crime Investigation Team (MCIT), remains ongoing. Washington : In a first, scientists have used an arthritis drug to successfully grow a full head of hair on a 25-year-old man suffering from a non-curable disease that left him without any hair on the body. After the treatment, the man grew a full head of hair, eyebrows, eyelashes, armpit, facial and other hair on various parts of his body. There is currently no cure or long-term treatment for alopecia universalis, the disease that left the patient bare of hair, researchers said. This is the first reported case of a successful targeted treatment for the rare, highly visible disease. "The results are exactly what we hoped for," said Brett A King, assistant professor of dermatology at Yale University School of Medicine and senior author of the research paper. A man is accused of strangling a woman he lived with before dying of a heart attack as he tried to bury her in their back garden. Joseph Anthony McKinnon was found dead at his home in Trenton, USA by police who were called after witnesses spotted an "unresponsive male" in the garden. The 60-year-old, who officers say likely died of a heart attack, was found close to a second body which had been dumped in a freshly dug makeshift grave. Officers from Edgefield County said their investigation confirmed the dead woman to be 65-year-old Patricia Ruth Dent, who lived with Mr McKinnon. A post mortem revealed that she died by strangulation. The sheriff said: “Mr McKinnon then bound her and wrapped her in trash bags before putting her in the previously dug pit." A diver who was attacked by a huge 11ft shark while cleaning a boat managed to scare off the beast with an ingenious tactic. Bailey Haffner, 20, was dressed in diving gear as spent his morning cleaning a boat near the Royal Perth Yacht Club in Western Australia. However, the young Perth diver felt a sudden bump which caused him to fall from the boat into the sea. He was left baffled as to how he suddenly ended up in the water but as soon as he turned around he saw a huge shark. Bailey said: “This shark has come up basically on top of me on my right-hand side and he’s pushed down and sort of done a turn to kick me off the hull of the boat. A driver who became embroiled in a dispute with partygoers after they accused him of speeding, sprayed bullets into the crowd—but was shot to death by one of the revelers. A British tourist has reportedly been raped in Corfu. The woman was said to be in a 'bad condition' as she turned up to a local police station on the Greek island to make the report on Sunday. She was said to give a description of a man to detectives, who immediately began searches. A 40-year-old man was subsequently arrested, protothema.gr reports. The HSR Layout Traffic Police arrested three people in connection with the death of a four-year-old girl who was mowed down by a water tanker on Thursday. The police arrested M.D. Raqib, the driver, the owner of the tanker R. Anand, 47, and another man Ramesh Babu, 36, who surrendered before the police falsely claiming he caused the accident. Following the accident, the HSR Traffic Police had served a notice to R. Anand, asking him to bring the driver to the police. Anand produced Ramesh Babu as the driver, who was then detained by the police and questioned. However, investigations revealed that Ramesh was not the driver, but had agreed to surrender by falsely claiming so on the assurance of being paid handsomely by Anand. The police arrested both Anand and Ramesh for providing false information and for being an imposter. They eventually arrested Raqib, whom Anand was trying to protect too.
