Incentives for electric vehicles

A strategic partnership between General Motors and Netflix will result in GM's electric vehicles (EVs) taking their spot on the digital stage beside some of Hollywood's best-known celebrities in upcoming productions. The partnership between the two publicly traded companies is not a product placement deal. In a briefing, Netflix Chief Marketing Officer Marian Lee said, "GM is not paying to put their vehicles on Netflix shows. This is the start of an organic partnership where both our companies are committed to a sustainable future so it's not product placement. We are really focused on educating our creators on how to utilize electric vehicles in all of our productions." GM's Chief Marketing Officer Deborah Wahl followed up by making it clear that any ad buys with Netflix are a separate effort, standing apart from this partnership. In Albany, an outbreak of the coronavirus erupted among nurses and patients in the cancer unit of a hospital. Across the state, nurses at hospitals in the Buffalo area bought their own masks and face shields out of concern about the quality of supplies in stock. And when an emergency room nurse in New Rochelle began her shift, she was asked to care for 15 patients, after her co-workers called out sick. The accounts recall the early days of the pandemic, when the virus ravaged New York — but these scenes took place over the past several weeks. A pair of 'extremely drunk' friends died train surfing when they hit overhead wires carrying 25,000 volts of electricity. Ben Haddon-Cave, 27, and Paddy Bolster, 26, were found a mile apart on the overground line between Stratford and Hackney Wick in the early hours of March 21. Mr Haddon-Cave, whose sister Jessie Cave played the character of Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter films, was discovered by firefighters after they were called by a neighbour shortly before 1am. He also worked as an actor and was expected to play the lead role in an upcoming film. His other sister, Bebe, starred in ITV's historical drama Victoria, playing Wilhelmina Coke. The midsize truck market, encompassing the Ford Ranger, Chevrolet Colorado , GMC Canyon , Toyota Tacoma , Jeep Gladiator , Nissan Frontier and Honda Ridgeline took a dip in 2022, dropping 4 percent overall. It might look like the segment is losing steam, but there are plenty of factors that say this is an anomaly and not a trend.
