That will become much easier now that the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that states like West Virginia can make abortion illegal. As the United States Supreme Court announced the overturning of Roe v. Wade , Germany voted to further liberalise its own abortion laws. Germany’s parliament has voted to further liberalise the country’s abortion laws, despite significant resistance from conservative and populist parties within the legislature. The decision coincided with a Supreme Court ruling in the U.S. which found that the country’s constitution did not actually guarantee a right to abortion, overturning the previous “Roe v. Wade” ruling that prevented individual American states from making their own local decisions on the matter. By May 2021, it was Ms. Peters, not the Russians, who had helped engineer an audacious breach of voting machines, according to an indictment charging her with seven felonies. Ms. Peters arranged to copy sensitive election software from county voting machines in an attempt to prove the 2020 presidential election was rigged, according to court records. The pro-life group Center for Medical Progress (CMP) is releasing a video on the first anniversary of its undercover exposé unmasking Planned Parenthood’s abortion business. The series of videos last summer also exposed Planned Parenthood’s apparent practices of selling the body parts of babies it aborts on the open market and altering the position of babies during abortions in order to harvest their most intact organs. A San Diego County man was sentenced Monday to 30 days in prison for his role in the U.S. Capitol insurrection on Jan. 6, 2021. Philip Weisbecker, 51, pleaded guilty in March to one misdemeanor count of parading or demonstrating in the Capitol. He is among a handful of people with San Diego ties who have been charged or linked to the Capitol breach . His attorney on Monday argued for a sentence of time served during a virtual hearing in Washington, D.C., where the massive federal prosecution is based. Prosecutors asked for three months in prison. The judge settled on 30 days of custody, which can be served intermittently on weekends if desired, along with two years of probation. Weisbecker had already agreed to pay $500 in restitution as part of his plea agreement to help cover damage to the Capitol. Lack of adequate funds, infrastructure and poor management are some of the reasons attributed to the downfall of Amma canteens, according to the regulars and staff at the canteens. The self-help groups (SHGs) who run the canteens claim that there is less patronage now. “Lesser variety of food, failure to upgrade the menu, poor maintenance, infrastructural issues had led to a fall in patronage. People complain about lack of varieties, especially for breakfast and dinner,” said a staff in one of the canteens. According to Anbu, a regular customer, the canteen lacks cleanliness and is in a bad condition. "The dining space and tables are not cleaned regularly, and food is spilt all over. Republican Derrick Van Orden shows a strong lead against his Democrat opponent, Deb Baldus McGrath, on her recent internal poll. McGrath’s internal poll, conducted by Public Policy Polling, found that Van Orden led his Democrat opponent by nine points. Forty-seven percent said they would vote for Van Orden, while only 38 percent would vote for McGrath. After the respondents were told about the candidates’ different views on abortion, Van Orden and McGrath were tied 43 percent to 43 percent. The Republican is pro-life, while McGrath says the choice is “between her and her doctor, not by the government” — which did not acknowledge how extreme her views are on abortion.
