THE sister of slain rapper XXXTentacion believes his murder was set up by a member of his inner circle - and reveals how she has been banned from visiting his grave for speaking out. In her first interview since the hip hop star was tragically gunned down in Deerfield Beach, Florida in June, Ariana Onfroy, 22, told Sun Online his death was most definitely an “inside job” which she believes was carried out for financial gain. Four men - Dedrick Williams, Michael Boatwright, Trayvon Newsome and Robert Allen - were charged with his murder but Ariana remains convinced that someone close to her brother must have been involved. “It was definitely an inside job because who knew?” she said. “Somebody that was close to him knew where he was going to be at the exact time and in that exact place. “He didn't make any big announcement that ‘I'm going to be here to get a bike or something like that’. “There's somebody on the inside that knew … [Read more...] about XXXTentacion’s sister claims rapper’s murder was set up by member of his inner circle

Produced by Patti Aronofsky, Elena DiFiore and Lourdes Aguiar [This story previously aired on July 29, 2017. It was updated on Aug. 18, 2018] A New York woman is accused of killing her fiance, VIncent Viafore, while on a kayaking trip on the Hudson River in 2015. Peter Van Sant and "48 Hours" investigated the case for months and obtained evidence that raised some questions about the charges against Angelika Graswald. Some of those questions would change the course of the prosecution with some interesting legal maneuvers just this week. "I'm in the Hudson River, my fiancé fell in the water, can you please call anybody. ... I can't get to him. It's very windy and the waves are coming in and I can't paddle to him. "At approximately 7:30 in the evening I got a phone call ... that there was a situation ... a … [Read more...] about New twist in Hudson River kayak murder case
A GRIEVING dad has paid tribute to his daughter after she took her own life - followed by her mum six days later. Charlotte Dunne, 29, had been left distraught after splitting with her girlfriend of four years, with her mum Beverley Dickenson, 49, "unable to live" without her daughter. Charlotte's dad Neil Buckley today paid tribute to the pair, telling the MailOnline: "Four days before it happened (Charlotte) said she was going to get a new job and that she was trying to get on with life after her break up. "There's something in her final hours that pushed her over the edge." Charlotte had been found at home in Wilton, Wiltshire, on June 10. Her mum was found by her husband David in a garage on the Earl of Pembroke's Wilton Estate, where she worked as a gardener, on June 17. The grieving dad said Charlotte was a "typical 29-year-old", but that she struggled with the loss of her nan and the break-up of her long-term relationship. Charlotte was identified by her mother after … [Read more...] about Dad’s tribute to daughter who killed herself six days before her mum – after breaking up with her girlfriend
Produced by Josh Gelman, Alvin Patrick and Jaime Hellmann Lorenzen Wright made headlines as the seventh overall pick in the 1996 NBA draft – but he also won the hearts of so many because of his impact on thousands of kids who were inspired by him. That ended in July 2010 during a call to 911. The chilling recording captured the 34-year-old's dying word: "Goddamn." A dispatcher then heard repeated gunshots – 11 in all – unaware where it was happening or who was on the other end of the line. "You can just listen to that tape and know he was in trouble," says Toney Armstrong, former director of police at the Memphis Police Department, who oversaw the investigation. "We literally threw everything we had at this investigation. We really wanted to solve it. We really, really wanted to solve this case." As Memphis mourned, months turned into years and the city became obsessed with solving the murder of its favorite son. Then, seven long years after the murder, police got … [Read more...] about New twist in probe of slain NBA star Lorenzen Wright
