Quordle, often dubbed " Wordle on steroids, " is considered to be a more intimidating version of the famous brain teaser that has taken the internet by storm. Players searching for more of a challenge are drawn to Quordle , which was created in January, and gives users nine attempts to guess four unique five-letter words daily—rather than Wordle's six attempts for a single five-letter word. Similar to The New York Times ' word game and internet sensation Wordle , a green tile in Quordle indicates that a player has guessed a letter in the right place, a yellow tile means a player has chosen a letter that features in the answers of the day, but in the wrong place. Finally, a gray tile means that the letter is not in the answer at all. The daily brain teaser works differently to Wordle in that users enter their guess for all four words simultaneously. Players find it helpful to pick a word that has as many vowels as possible in their first guess. Wordle #337 answer: Hints and tips to solve Sunday, May 22, Wordle
Wordle is a word game that tests veteran players and newcomers who all try to solve the puzzle within six tries; fortunately, Newsweek is on hand to help those who might want some help to work it out. The rules of the puzzle game are simple and follow a color-coded system that players use in order to work out the five-letter word. In the game, green tiles show the player has chosen the correct letter and that it is in the right place, a yellow tile indicates the letter is right but in the wrong place while a gray tile means the letter is not in the word. Luckily, Wordle resets each day, which means those players who failed to solve the puzzle only need to wait a few hours before they can try again. Software engineer Josh Wardle create Wordle during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic as a game for him and his partner to play. When Wordle launched in October 2021, there were an estimated 90 people who could be counted among its active player base but it has since grown … [Read more...] about Wordle #337 answer: Hints and tips to solve Sunday, May 22, Wordle
Today’s Wordle word of the day: #338 answer and hints – May 23
Wordle is the viral word game open to all to solve for just one day on The New York Times website. Wordle's aim is very basic, with the puzzle demanding participants figure out a five-letter word in six guesses or fewer. Working out how to give oneself an edge in Wordle is easy; requiring people to simply focus only on the tiles' color while guessing the solution. When a tile turns gray following each guess, it suggests this particular letter won't feature anywhere in the answer. If the specific letter is included in the word, but in another position, the tile turns a mellow yellow color. But if you strike gold and the tile turns green, you can rest easy in the knowledge the letter is not only included in the word, but it's also sitting in exactly the right place. Wordle players have every right to feel smug should they arrive at the correct answer, and the viral game caters to this sense of achievement by tracking people's vital statistics. The puzzle not … [Read more...] about Today’s Wordle word of the day: #338 answer and hints – May 23

Despite his illness the 39 year old set up the Steve Prescott Foundation and raised almost £500,000. His son Taylor, 12, told the congregation: “I’d like to say how proud I am of what my dad has achieved. “I have got lots of great memories of the times we have had together. I will remember them forever. “When I was five and my dad first became ill, I made him a promise to always do my best and to follow my dream of being a sportsman.” Watched by his mum Linzi and brother Koby, seven, he added: “I hope I can make him as proud of me as I am of him. IPL: late call, but the right one as things spiral down rapidly
Calling off the IPL was the right — if delayed — decision, even if the Board of Control for Cricket in India had its hand forced by the rapid developments once the bio-bubble had been breached, exposing players in what, technically, was the safest real estate in the country. Also read: How the Indian Premier League bubble burst — and what’s next Players from three franchises tested positive , matches had to be rescheduled, and the venues chosen had some of the highest number of COVID cases in India . There were murmurs too that players were finding it difficult to focus on the games or motivate themselves, and talked openly of returning home. It would have been surprising if it had been otherwise. These are difficult times, and the BCCI did well finally to cut its losses and do the humane thing. I suspect this might not be a popular decision among hardcore fans, judging by some of the reaction to this column last week where I suggested the IPL be called off . How the Indian Premier League bubble burst — and what’s next
With the COVID-19 virus being detected in four biosecure IPL bubbles, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had no option but to indefinitely postpone the 2021 edition of the T20 league on Tuesday. “These are difficult times, especially in India and while we have tried to bring in some positivity and cheer, it is imperative that the tournament is now suspended and everyone goes back to their families and loved ones in these trying times,” read a statement issued by IPL on Tuesday morning. Severe warning Monday had served a severe warning. The match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore was called off after two KKR players — Varun Chakravarthy and Sandeep Warrier — tested positive for COVID-19. In addition, at least two members of the Chennai Super Kings entourage, including bowling coach L. Balaji, were confirmed to have contracted the virus. The final straw, however, was when Sunrisers Hyderabad wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha and Delhi … [Read more...] about How the Indian Premier League bubble burst — and what’s next
