The victim told police that he lost his wallet while shopping at Walmart on Oct. 7. The victim did not realize that he left his wallet at the store until the next day when he was contacted by his bank to check on suspicious charges being made from his bank accounts. The victim's bank cards were used to make purchases of $128.10 at a Dollar General, $283.09 and $56.23 at the East Walnut Avenue Walmart, and a $118.74 purchase at JJY Liquor Store. A Miami International Airport cleaner is facing fraud charges after she allegedly stole a passenger's bag while she was cleaning a plane and used his credit cards. Yeneis Ramon-Dominguez, 28, of Miami, was arrested Monday at the airport's Terminal F after detectives discovered she allegedly made purchases at Taco Bell, Publix, Home Depot, Ulta Beauty, TJ Maxx and Marshalls totaling up to $3,311.50, the arrest form stated. The victim left his crossbody bag last month on an American Airlines flight, where Dominguez allegedly stole the bag while she was cleaning the plane. Days later, detectives contacted the victim, who was disputing the fraudulent charges with his credit card companies. Dominguez initially faced 20 counts of fraudulent use of a credit card of $100 or more, according to the arrest report. She was released to a first-time offender program on a prior grand theft conviction from 2015. Police: Woman kills tourist in hit-and-run, tries to use his credit cards
MIAMI BEACH, Fla. — A woman has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a tourist in Miami Beach, WPLG reports.According to police, 33-year-old Latravia Reed told Police she met Steven Beech at a bar early Saturday and left with him. She said they went to an ATM where she withdrew $300 using his ATM card. She said they tried to buy drugs but were unsuccessful, so they drove to a hotel.Police also told WPLG that surveillance video showed Beech getting out of the car but Reed staying in the driver's seat.
