The CEO of Fox News personally demanded the network's reporters refrain from fact-checking former President Donald Trump 's lies about the 2020 election, documents obtained by Newsweek and other outlets show, marking yet another setback for the conservative news channel as it defends itself in a defamation suit against voting machine company Dominion. According to emails contained in Dominion attorneys' slide deck used against the company in a hearing earlier this March, Suzanne Scott— Fox News CEO since 2018—wrote to Fox News Executive Vice President of Primetime Programming Meade Cooper on December 2, 2020, demanding the network's reporters immediately stop fact-checking Trump's false claims about the election and the security of Dominion's voting machines, claiming it was bad for business. "This has to stop now," wrote Scott. "[...] this is bad business and there is clearly a lack of understanding what is happening in these shows. The audience is furious and we are just … [Read more...] about Fox News CEO raged over anchor fact checking Trump, emails reveal

Donald Trump outlines timeline to “fix” Ukraine war
Former President Donald Trump recently claimed that if he is elected in 2024, he can end the Russian invasion of Ukraine before he takes office in January 2025. He made the claim during an interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity. He also said that Putin knew not to "mess" with him while he was president. Former President Donald Trump has said he could end the the Russian invasion of Ukraine if he's elected president again in 2024 even before he takes office in January 2025. Trump, who is running for the Republican presidential nomination, made the claim during the second part of his interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity , which aired on Tuesday. The interview comes just days after Trump held his first official 2024 campaign rally in Waco, Texas and amid speculation that he could be indicted as part of the Manhattan District Attorney's probe into a $130,000 reimbursement paid to former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen for a payment he made to adult film actor Stormy … [Read more...] about Donald Trump outlines timeline to “fix” Ukraine war
Tucker Carlson says trans movement “natural enemy” of Christianity
Following a shooting on Monday that left three 9-year-old children and three adults dead at a private Christian elementary school in Nashville, Fox News host Tucker Carlson warned viewers that the "trans movement is targeting Christians" because they are "its natural enemy." Carlson made his comments during his signature show on Tuesday night, a day after 28-year-old Audrey Hale—who police said identified as trans—entered The Covenant School in Nashville armed with two assault-style rifles and a handgun. The host told his audience that he saw the attack coming, having previously warned of the alleged dangers posed by trans people. The trans community actually faces high rates of violence and discrimination in U.S. society and across the world, as testified by several studies and polls. But on Tuesday, Carlson argued that the trans movement is getting "militant and possibly dangerous" and claimed that the movement's alleged anger is targeted "specifically at traditional … [Read more...] about Tucker Carlson says trans movement “natural enemy” of Christianity
Tucker Turns Shooting Into Apocalyptic War Between Trans People and Christians
Five days after Tucker Carlson voiced concerns about trans people arming themselves in light of a recent rise in attacks and harassment, the Fox News host pointed to the Nashville elementary school shooting by trans suspect Audrey Hale as evidence of an emerging movement of “trans terrorism.” Their targets? Christians, Carlson argued. “Why are some trans people so angry, and why do they seem to be mad specifically at traditional Christians?” Carlson asked Tuesday, echoing a similar line to that of other conservative commentators in the wake of Monday’s shooting. To make his point, the Fox News host cited three examples of gender-nonconforming people who were responsible for threats or violence in recent years—largely without context. There have been more than 300 mass shootings in the United States since 2009, according to Everytown For Gun Safety, a pro-gun control nonprofit. Carlson first mentioned Nicholas Roske, the suspect in a plot to assassinate Supreme … [Read more...] about Tucker Turns Shooting Into Apocalyptic War Between Trans People and Christians

Soros Donates $1 Million to WI Dems Ahead of State Supreme Court Race
George Soros and other out-of-state billionaires have donated millions of dollars to Wisconsin Democrats ahead of the upcoming state Supreme Court election — a race which has “2024 consequences,” Fox News reported on Tuesday. Soros, an infamous left-wing financier, donated $1 million to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin on February 22, according to campaign finance records. Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker donated $1 million on March 14, and Tulsa philanthropists Stacy and Lynn Schusterman made four donations in March totaling $1 million, after previously donating $40,000 to the party. “Soros and Pritzker’s cash accounted for roughly 30 percent of the $6.6 million in individual contributions the Wisconsin Democratic Party raised during that time. A handful of other major liberal donors — including Karla Jurvetson and Fred Eychaner – added hundreds of thousands of dollars,” the outlet reported. The report notes the winner of the race will “determine majority control of the … [Read more...] about Soros Donates $1 Million to WI Dems Ahead of State Supreme Court Race
