Many Italians will be heading to the ocean for the traditional August 15th holiday but the weather hasn't read the script. The west coast and the northern regions should remain largely dry throughout August 15th. But for beachgoers heading to the Adriatic coastline, storms and rain may be in store. The provinces of Le Marche, Umbria and Abruzzo are set to experience storms on August 15th, known in Italian as Ferragosto, a public holiday when many families take advantage to head to the sea. Economists forecast that the Consumer Prices Index came in at 2.5% last month, up from 2.4% in June. The July Retail Prices Index (RPI), a separate measure of inflation, is tipped to be 3.5%, which is likely to lead to a hike in rail fares. The Department for Transport will use RPI to set its yearly increase in train fares, and commuters have been warned that the July rate could increase the annual cost of getting to work be more than £150. Russ Mould, investment director at AJ Bell, said inflation could be nudged higher by a weaker pound, and higher petrol pump prices. Colorado Springs will see sunny skies and highs in the 80s Monday before afternoon thunderstorms make an appearance later in the week, forecasts the National Weather Service in Pueblo.Monday's expected high temperature in Colorado Springs is 84 with an overnight low of 56.Tuesday's forecast looks similar except with a 20 percent chance of afternoon storms. The typhoon is heading towards the East Sea. Due to the typhoon, torrential rain is forecast for northern and north-central regions from midnight on Wednesday through to Friday. Rainfall is predicted to rise to 350mm, according to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting. The good news is that Friday will be an excellent beach day. The bad news?
