Alcon Entertainment have snapped up the rights to Cecelia Ahern's follow up novel Postscript in the hopes of turning it into another silver screen success, reports Variety. The original 2007 film adaptation, starring Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler, went on to make a whopping $156 million at box offices worldwide. Academy Award winner Swank took on the role of widow Holly Kennedy who receives a series of letters from late husband Gerry (Butler) in attempt to soothe her grief from beyond the grave. Debutant director Shamal Sulaiman began the shooting for his film Jackson Bazaar Youth this week. The shooting started in Perambra in Kerala’s Kozhikode. Jackson Bazaar Youth is based on a band set team. Malayalam character actor Indrans is the protagonist of this film. Despite being the protagonist, Indrans will not play the role of band performer. This was clarified by director Shamal himself in an interview. Shamal also described how the cast is being trained for handling instruments like trumpets.
