President Donald Trump’s criticism of The Washington Post is because The Post is biased, White House legislative affairs director Marc Short said Thursday. "I think The Washington Post certainly has an agenda, and they’ve been pretty biased in pursuing that agenda for quite some time, so I think he’s making a very obvious case that he’s not going to get a fair deal from The Washington Post in coverage," Short said in an interview with Stuart Varney on Fox Business. WASHINGTON — Gov. John Hickenlooper spoke to Rolling Stone for a piece the magazine posted Monday as part of a four-day, cross-country tour and the two-term Democrat used the conversation to defend Colorado’s decision to legalize marijuana while addressing other issues such as immigration and the fate of The Denver Post. The Rolling Stone interview also touched on the possibility of a 2020 run for the White House but — as he’s done previously – Hickenlooper shot down the idea of a third-way ticket with Republican Gov. John Kasich of Ohio. “I don’t think we would ever run together just because, as he says, ‘Hickenlooper would never be my VP and I would never be his VP.’ That’s always a problem,” Hickenlooper said in a Q&A published by the magazine.
