DONALD Trump's former "fixer" Michael Cohen has today filed a lawsuit claiming the Trump Organisation failed to pay nearly $2 million (£1.5m) toward his legal defence. The lawsuit filed in New York state court claims the US President's company stopped paying his ex-laywer's Cohen's mounting legal fees after he began cooperating with federal prosecutors. It alleges breach of contract and seeks damages on Cohen's behalf. Cohen faces jail for orchestrating hush-money payments to women who claimed they had slept with the President. He says his “blind loyalty” to Trump led him to “cover up his dirty deeds” which also included lying to congress about Russia links during his boss's 2016 election campaign. The Trump Organisation has been contacted for a comment. The lawsuit says the company stopped paying for his legal defence about two months after the FBI raided Cohen's home and office.
