Doctored photos and film are a regular source of misinformation, whether it be celebrity gossip or political attacks. Vice President Kamala Harris is no new victim to this type of misinformation; comments she made about her pronouns at a recent White House event were pulled far out of context to enrage right-wing critics. It now appears that an interview with the vice president on CNN has been, rather professionally, repurposed to vulgar effect. The Claim A tweet posted on August 15, 2022, shows Kamala Harris talking at what looks like a CNN event with the question "Should women give h*** to get ahead?" displayed on screen. The tweet (archived here ) has received more thank 40,000 interactions and more than 1.7 million views as of Wednesday, August 17. During the clip, sections of Harris' speech are carefully censored to make it sound as if she is taking about oral sex. PNB KYC Update: In the past few months, several banks have been alerting customers to update their Know Your Customer, or KYC details in order to keep their accounts active and carry on account-related work smoothly. Public sector lender Punjab National Bank has become the latest one to notify customers about KYC update. In a tweet dated Wednesday, August 17, the lender said that PNB KYC needs to be done within August 31, 2022 in order to keep the accounts active. The PNB KYC updation is applicable to those customers whose accounts have become due for the process as on March 31 this year. The Tamil Nadu government has announced the completion of a customised English language development course for the personnel of the department of industries and commerce in the state. The programme was specially designed by British Council with a strong focus on business (workplace) communication, email and report writing. It was delivered to 41 officials of the department from different districts of Tamil Nadu. Prior to the training, the candidates were assessed by British Council CELTA qualified teachers and were divided into different batches based on their English proficiency.
