New York Supreme Court Strikes Down NYC Voting Rights for Foreign Nationals
The New York Supreme Court has struck down a New York City law, passed by Democrats late last year, that sought to give municipal voting rights to nearly a million foreign nationals. As Breitbart News has chronicled , Democrats on the 51-member New York City Council approved a plan last month that allows more than 800,000 foreign nationals with green cards, visas, and work permits the opportunity to vote in citywide elections so long as they have resided in the city for at least 30 consecutive days. Subsequently, black Americans in New York City, along with naturalized American citizens, the New York State Republican Party, the Republican National Committee (RNC), and Democrat officials like Councilman Robert Holden sued Mayor Eric Adams (D) and the city’s Board of Elections. The lawsuit noted that the New York State Constitution expressly states that voting rights are a privilege reserved for American “citizens.” In its decision on Monday, the Court ruled that the … [Read more...] about New York Supreme Court Strikes Down NYC Voting Rights for Foreign Nationals

It’s world UFO day, and this Utah ranch is apparently their top destination
Today is World UFO Day, an event held every year on July 2 dedicated to the existence of unidentified flying objects, officially known as "unidentified aerial phenomena" or UAPs. The first World UFO Day was celebrated in 2001 with the aim of raising awareness about the "undoubted existence" of unidentified flying objects, according to its official website. Another reason for establishing the celebration was to encourage governments to "declassify their knowledge about sightings" throughout history. Traditionally, people who have reported UFO sightings have often been dismissed or even ridiculed. UFO sightings do not necessarily mean evidence of extraterrestrial life, simply that the reports of these objects cannot be explained. But in recent years, interest in UFOs has moved into the mainstream and the topic is now being discussed publicly by the U.S. government . One spot in the United States that has attracted huge interest from UFO enthusiasts is Skinwalker Ranch , a … [Read more...] about It’s world UFO day, and this Utah ranch is apparently their top destination
Denied bail, Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair sent to 14 days in judicial custody
A Delhi court on Saturday denied bail to Alt-News co-founder Mohammed Zubair and remanded the journalist to 14 days in judicial custody, noting the probe was at “the initial stage”, considering the “overall facts and circumstances of the case” and given the “nature and gravity of offences”. Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Snigdha Sarvaria of the Patiala House court here pronounced the order around 7 p.m., almost five hours after the Special Cell (IFSO) DCP K.P.S. Malhotra told the media in a “broadcast” message that Mr. Zubair’s bail had been rejected and that he had been remanded to 14 days in judicial custody. The statement from the police had prompted Mr. Zubair’s counsel, Advocate Soutik Banerjee, to lash out at the police: “It is extremely scandalous and it speaks of the status of rule of law in our country today… How KPS Malhotra knows what the order is, is beyond me and this calls for serious introspection.” Soon after Mr. Banerjee’s statement, Mr. Malhotra said he had … [Read more...] about Denied bail, Alt News co-founder Mohammed Zubair sent to 14 days in judicial custody
UN Vote: Obama Abandons Israel in Waning Days Of His Administration
President Barack Obama shocked Israel and the American Jewish community Friday by instructing his UN ambassador to abstain on a Security Council resolution condemning Israeli settlements on the West Bank and in East Jerusalem. The unexpected American move to abstain — called Obama’s “December surprise” by angry Israeli officials — did not block the resolution from entering international law. The Security Council ultimately voted 14 to zero supporting the resolution. The resolution stated Israeli settlements have “no legal validity and constitute a flagrant violation under international law.” The U.S. vote upends long-standing American policy to force Israelis and Palestinians to negotiate face-to-face about the future of the region and not by edict issued by third parties such as the UN. It also ended more than a half century of the United States protecting Israel at the UN from anti-Israel resolutions introduced by Arab countries. A similar resolution before the Security … [Read more...] about UN Vote: Obama Abandons Israel in Waning Days Of His Administration

But now that the ruling has been overturned almost 50 years later, abortion laws can be dictated at a State level - with the procedure now no longer legal across many States. Billie, 20, drew attention to the legal changes in the USA as she took to the stage on Worthy Farm in the Somerset countryside.
