A group of boys have vowed to continue wearing skirts to school until a 'no shorts in hot weather' rule is changed. Lads at Isca Academy in Exeter pleaded to be allowed to wear shorts as sweltering temperatures topped 30 degrees this week. But their request was denied. In protest, around five boys shaved their legs and came in wearing skirts on Wednesday. When they were punished, a group of up to 50 joined them in solidarity the next day. The Mirror's sister title DevonLive spoke to many of the boys as they went in to school on Thursday.
