Matt Charboneau The Detroit News Published 12:22 PM EST Nov 25, 2018 Matt Charboneau of The Detroit News predicts bowl destinations for Big Ten teams: Ohio State (11-1) College Football Playoff, Orange Bowl, Dec. 29, Miami (time TBD, ESPN) After the way the Buckeyes lit up the No. 1 defense in the nation, it would be hard not to see Ohio State getting the nod over Oklahoma. More: Michigan football vs. Indiana: Scouting report, prediction The 2016 team wasn't put in any difficult situations, really, until the 10th game of the year. Matt Charboneau The Detroit News Published 11:11 PM EDT Oct 27, 2018 With roughly a month to go in the regular season, the prognosticating for the College Football Playoff will be hitting a fever pitch over the next several weeks. But before anyone in the Big Ten can start making travel plans, the matter of deciding the division champions to see who plays for the conference title in Indianapolis will need to be settled. And after Saturday’s game, almost nothing is certain. Big games still await the leaders in the East while over in the West, Northwestern has the leg up but has hardly clinched anything other than crippling Wisconsin’s chances with a two-touchdown win over the Badgers on Saturday. There wasn’t much movement to be made this weekend in the East as Michigan and Ohio State were off. The Wolverines are on top at 5-0 while the Buckeyes are 4-1 after the loss last week at Purdue.
