LAND Rovers for royals have their seatbelt alarms turned off to make it easier to drive without one, it was claimed. The Queen, 92, and Prince Philip, 97, were recently spotted without belts on. Road safety charities slammed the move as “very disappointing and disrespectful”. The Queen sparked a row after it was claimed her Land Rover had its seatbelt alarm turned off by request. Prince Philip’s vehicle also reportedly has the vital safety feature deactivated - to the fury of road safety campaigners. It comes as both royals were seen without their belts on — and just a week after Philip’s horror road smash. A source said Jaguar Land Rover was instructed to disable the seatbelt alarm on vehicles supplied to the royals. THREE Brits, including a child, were killed in a horrific car crash in Iceland on December 27. With so many unanswered questions, we explain what happened. Who are the victims? Rajshree Laturia, the wife of Shreeraj Laturia, was killed when the Toyota Land Cruiser the family was in plunged from a bridge in Iceland. Rajshree’s sister-in-law Kushi also died. The third victim is believed to be a three-year-old girl and her name has yet to be released. Seven people from two British families were inside the car. The two women were the wives of two brothers, Shreeraj and Noble, as both their families were on a dream holiday to the Scandinavian nation. The brothers are both British nationals of Indian descent and are among four people seriously injured from the crash. A boy and a girl, aged eight and nine, were the other two seriously injured. A BRIT diving instructor died in a car crash just weeks after he moved to Australia for his dream job. Daniel Wright, 31, from Durham, was on his way to check out a diving spot in Queensland, when the accident took place. Daniel had moved in October, to work as a diving instructor at Whitsunday Island, encouraging others to explore the Great Barrier Reef. He "achieved so much in his short life", his niece Jessica Hay, 23, said, having been travelling for 10 years. But now his grief-stricken family are trying to raise funds to bring his body back home. Jessica told Chronicle Live: "We are all desperate to get him back. We are absolutely heartbroken. "Nothing will fix our broken hearts, but we just want to bring him home." The family have been told that it may cost them up to £10,000 to fly his body to the UK, as his insurance policy did not cove non-diving accidents. Stanislaw Skupian crossed the finish line with legitimate runner Jake Halliday’s number after spotting it 300 metres from the end of the 26.2-mile race, Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court heard on Thursday. The homeless 38-year-old was pictured celebrating with a finisher’s medal on April 22.
