Former President Donald Trump was criticized by the New York Post after he warned on social media about "death & destruction" if he's indicted in relation to the hush money payment investigation involving adult film star Stormy Daniels . "He hasn't changed in the slightest. There is no shame," the newspaper's editorial team wrote in an op-ed article that was published Friday. "After riling up rioters, cheering for a coup, and agreeing that his vice president needed to be hanged, he's back to making violent threats against fellow Americans," the editorial read in reference to the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, when Trump's supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol building in an attempt to stop the certification of Joe Biden 's 2020 election victory. The New York Post was once Trump's favorite and one of his supporting media outlets, endorsing him for the 2020 presidential election. However, the Trump-leaning, Rupert Murdoch -owned newspaper, changed its stance after … [Read more...] about Donald Trump blasted by his old favorite newspaper after “unhinged” threats

Exclusive — Rep. Wesley Hunt: Target on Trump’s Back Shows He Is ‘Our Guy’ Moving Forward
Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-TX), who is joining former President Donald Trump for a rally in Waco, Texas, Saturday evening, told Breitbart News Saturday that the target on Trump’s back clearly shows that he is “our guy” moving forward, contending that the far left is “running scared” because they know Trump is going to restore the country to how it was during his first term. Hunt said he expects Trump to give a powerful message to the American people during tonight’s rally in the Lone Star State, drawing a stark contrast between the state of the country now and how it was with former President Trump at the helm. Biden, Hunt explained, has given the United States “ the worst border crisis” and “worst inflation I’ve seen in my lifetime.” The congressman predicted that Trump will lay out his “Day One” plan to put America back on track. “We are a joke on the world scale, a nd that’s only because of the failed policies of Joe Biden. … [Read more...] about Exclusive — Rep. Trump mocked for touting “catturd” poll showing him beating Ron DeSantis
Former President Donald Trump was mocked online this weekend after sharing a poll posted by what appears to be a right-wing trolling Twitter account named "Catturd," showing him beating Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in a hypothetical 2024 presidential election. "NEW POLL JUST OUT...," Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social on Friday. The results were based on responses from the 1.5 million users following Catturd on Twitter who were asked who they would vote for in the 2024 Republican primary. By Friday afternoon, a total of 192,578 Twitter users responded to the poll, 69 percent of which said they would back the former president, while 24 percent would back DeSantis, who has not yet announced if he plans to run for president in 2024. @catturd2 is a Twitter handle that belongs to an unidentified Florida man in his late 50s who owns a small company called Catturd LLC that sells beanies, bumper stickers, and fridge magnets, according to Rolling Stone . … [Read more...] about Trump mocked for touting “catturd” poll showing him beating Ron DeSantis
Report: West Virginia Democratic Gov. Jim Justice to Flip to Republican Party at Trump Rally
Gov. Jim Justice (D-WV), a Democrat in a deep red-state, will reportedly switch his party affiliation Thursday at a rally with President Trump — the latest coup for a president who has managed to reach into traditionally Democratic constituencies. Trump will hold the rally in Huntington, West Virginia, as part of his tour across the rust belt. Trump had promised a “very big announcement” when speaking to reporters at the White House. The New York Time s reported that the announcement would be the conservative Democrat’s move to the Republican Party at the rally, an example of how Trump has redrawn traditional red/blue boundaries in his landmark 2016 campaign. Justice, a billionaire businessman who made his money in the coal business, refused to endorse Hillary Clinton in August — primarily due to her position on the coal industry. The failed presidential candidate was forced to apologize after she vowed to “put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out … [Read more...] about Report: West Virginia Democratic Gov. Voters Agree Looming Trump Indictment Is ‘Politically Motivated’
Most voters agree that the looming indictment of former President Donald Trump is “politically motivated,” a Harvard/Harris survey released this week found. When asked if the indictment is “politically motivated,” 59 percent say it is. Four in ten, however, believe it is a “valid indictment.” While 59 percent of Democrats believe it would be a “valid indictment,” 41 percent disagree, concluding that it is politically motivated. The vast majority of Republicans, 80 percent, believe it is politically motivated, as do 58 percent of independents. Further, when asked if a Trump trial would help or harm his 2024 candidacy, 57 percent of Republicans said it will only “help” his campaign. Dershowitz: The Left Will ‘Stretch the Constitution, Destroy the Constitution to Prevent Trump from Running for President’
Friday, during an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Alan Dershowitz argued that the left would do anything to prevent former President Donald Trump from winning the presidency again. He said those on the left engaging in this behavior were no longer “liberals” but “radicals.” “Well, first of all, I just got a tweet or a note from Donald Trump himself, in which he endorsed my book, urges everybody read it, but he says, ‘Alan enjoys saying, I didn’t vote for Trump. I believe he probably did. He just uses that phrase for added credibility, but it doesn’t matter. He’s a brilliant guy, and you should read his book.’ No, I didn’t. I never mix politics and my constitutional analysis. “Get Trump” is a book about lying. It’s all about lying. It’s about the four lies that have resulted in four investigations, including doctoring a tape, which is, of course, what the January 6 Committee did when it left out the words ‘peacefully and patriotically.’ It’s about … [Read more...] about Dershowitz: The Left Will ‘Stretch the Constitution, Destroy the Constitution to Prevent Trump from Running for President’
GOP Responds to Bragg’s Resistance to Testify: ‘Substantial Federal Interest’ in Possible Trump Indictment
Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH), James Comer (R-KY), and Bryan Steil (R-WI) replied to Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg on Saturday, stating that their prior requests for testimony and documents from Bragg related to the possible forthcoming indictment of former President Donald Trump still stand after Bragg objected to most of them. The three powerful committee chairmen contended in a letter obtained by Breitbart News that there existed a “substantial federal interest” in Congress probing Bragg’s investigation of Trump after Bragg disputed most of their initial requests on Thursday. “Contrary to the central argument set forth in your letter, this matter does not simply involve local or state interests,” they wrote. Read a copy of the letter below: The Republicans reasoned that “if state or local prosecutors are able to engage in politically motivated prosecutions of Presidents of the United States (former or current) for personal acts, this could have a profound impact on … [Read more...] about GOP Responds to Bragg’s Resistance to Testify: ‘Substantial Federal Interest’ in Possible Trump Indictment
