More than 20 years after one of the most notorious crimes of the 20th Century, the bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah building in Oklahoma City is still reverberating.Although Terry Nichols was convicted in 1997 and sentenced to life without parole in the blast that killed 168 people, a federal judge is only now being asked to decide what to do with roughly a dozen firearms that were seized from his home.The feds want to destroy the guns and reimburse Nichols for their fair market value, the Associated Press reports. As Oklahoma's attorney general, Scott Pruitt assigned investigations agents from his office to be his driver and bodyguard, at times taking them on his frequent trips out of state to speak to conservative political organizations, state records show. The newly obtained documents raise similar questions to those that have triggered investigations into Pruitt's security and travel since becoming administrator of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Pruitt was Oklahoma's top prosecutor from 2011 to 2016, at a time in which he was raising his profile nationally as a conservative in favor of rolling back regulation and federal authority. Pruitt traveled extensively as attorney general, taking at least 24 out-of-state trips in 2015 and 2016, including 11 to Washington, D.C., according to the records. Although some travel expenses were reimbursed by conservative think tanks where Pruitt spoke, records show no sign of reimbursement for several trips involving appearances before them. There’s no NBA Finals rematch this year on Christmas. Not technically, anyway. It’s LeBron James vs. the Golden State Warriors for the fourth consecutive year on Dec. 25, though James will be wearing a Los Angeles Lakers uniform this time. It was a predictable matchup. It isn’t, however, a break from tradition. That’s one of the biggest misnomers about the NBA and the schedule. An NBA Finals rematch is not common, not the norm, not a guarantee for the last two teams that were standing the previous season. The league has crowned a champion every year since 1947, and the tradition of Christmas Day games started later that same year. EDMOND, Okla. — More than 100 people marched in the rain to protest the fatal shooting of a naked, unarmed teenager by police in the Oklahoma City suburb of Edmond. The group marched about a half mile (0.8 kilometer) Friday from the school attended by 17-year-old Isaiah Lewis to the Edmond Police Department during a rally arranged by the Oklahoma City chapter of Black Lives Matter. Police have said Sgt. Milo Box and officer Denton Scherman spotted Lewis running naked on Monday and followed him into a home he broke into. They say he fought with the officers and a stun gun failed to subdue him. Rev. T.
