Nine in 10 foodbanks fear running out of supplies to hand to hungry families, a heartbreaking study revealed tonight. Seventy per cent of outlets said they were “extremely” or “very concerned” about their “ability to continue to support” those in need amid the cost-of-living crisis. Another 23% who responded to the SurveyMonkey study for the BanktheFood network were “somewhat concerned”. Some 97% of foodbanks which answered the poll reported surges in demand over the past 12 months as the living standards disaster crisis gripped Britain. The biggest increase was seen among working families with children aged under 12, with 26% of foodbanks reporting rises in demand from these households. The devastated family of a teenage girl who died after being electrocuted on a railway line say they will "never be able to overcome" the tragedy. Roxy Phillips was pronounced dead at the scene in Weymouth, Dorset, after the accident at around 2.25am on Thursday (March 23). The 15-year-old's loved ones said they want to raise awareness about third rails which are always live in light of what happened. Roxy was described as "strong willed" and "beautiful", someone who loved animals, especially her horse Bradley. Britney Spears has hit out at the "cruel joke" that her family had "planned an intervention" over fears 'she could die' and insisted she is "alive and well". It had been claimed that those close to the singer were planning to intervene about "hysteria in the media". The intervention had been scheduled for Tuesday , but plans were eventually scrapped, according to reports. After the reports, Britney took to Instagram on Thursday to say "enough is enough" and has since returned to continue to hit out at the claims. The severe weather hit nine provinces in different parts of the country on Friday and Saturday: Balkh , Zabul, Faryab, Uruzgan, Nimroz, Nangarhar, Kunar, Nuristan, and Laghman. One couple's journey to renovate a tired laundromat has captured viral attention as they finally opened their new and improved community hub. Erin Carpenter, 30, and her husband Jonathan, 33, have been renovating properties for years, and while on the hunt for their next project stumbled on a laundromat in their hometown of Charleston, South Carolina. Four people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed to death in Hull. Police found the injured victim after being called to Princes Dock Street at around 11.20pm on Friday. He later died in hospital, and his family are being supported by specially trained officers from Humberside Police. The Florida Senate passed a piece of legislation on Thursday that would make all K-12 students eligible for state-funded vouchers. In a 26-12 vote, the state Senate approved House Bill 1 , sponsored by the Education Quality Subcommittee, which would make every family able to receive up to $8,000 through the Education Savings Accounts (ESA) program to cover education expenses outside of the public school system. Seven law enforcement officers in Ohio are suing the rapper Afroman for using footage of their raid on his house last year in videos and merchandise for commercial purposes, according to a complaint . Four deputies, two sergeants and a detective, all with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office in West Union, filed a lawsuit in the Court of Common Pleas in Adams County on March 13, the complaint said. It listed Afroman as a defendant using his real name, Joseph E. Foreman, along with two firms that market and distribute his material and three unnamed business entities. In the complaint, the officers objected to Mr. Foreman’s use of their images for “commercial purposes, to promote his ‘Afroman’ brand,” claiming that he was using the images to sell products and promote his tours.
