An 18-year-old Allentown man was arrested Friday on charges of robbing a couple at gunpoint two months earlier on West Linden Street.Yostin A. Montes de Oca Alma pointed a BB gun at Felix Rodriguez at 8:30 p.m. Feb. 16 as de Oca Alma and an accomplice took the backpacks and other belongings of Rodriguez and Krystal Velez, police said.De Oca Alma was arraigned Friday night by District Judge Tom Creighton on charges of robbery, conspiracy, theft and receiving stolen property.He was sent to Lehigh County Jail under $15,000 bail.The robbery happened in the 1500 block of Linden Street. Two days after allegedly causing a head-on crash that killed his passenger in Allentown, a 20-year-old man fled the country and is believed to be in the Dominican Republic, the Lehigh County District Attorney’s office announced Friday.Allentown police filed an arrest warrant on Fernando Hernandez, who had been living in the 200 block of E. The articles of impeachment accused indicted Justice Allen Loughry of “unnecessary and lavish spending” on an office renovation and a $32,000 office sofa, moving state property–an antique desk with an appraised value of $42,000–to his home, lying to lawmakers about the desk, and using state vehicles for personal travel. The Washington Post, the New York Times, the West Virginia-Gazette Mail and the Wall Street Journal have coverage.
