FOUR fraudster holiday makers were called out for their fake food poisoning claims because of a Facebook post saying it was the "best holiday ever". Michael Jameson, Jane Weir, Claire Elizabeth Weir and Janet Louise Weir tried to claim for £45,000 of compensation from Jet2holidays after they stayed in Benidorm for a week in July 2015. They were caught out when lawyers on the case found a Facebook post by Janet, 63, the day after they returned home, when she was supposed to be ill, saying hotel and food had been "lovely". The group all claimed to have suffered from nausea, stomach cramps, diarrhoea and vomiting and that it had ruined their holiday. But when the case was investigated, there were holes in their story.
