Police have said at least one person has died as they launched a manhunt after seven people, including a child, were shot in downtown Seattle, according to reports. Footage shows numerous emergency services vehicles on the scene, with the shooting apparently taking place at or near a McDonald’s in 4th Avenue and Pine Street shortly after 5pm local time. The suspect fled the scene with police searching downtown Seattle. NBC reports two suspects are wanted in connection with the incident, though it is currently unclear what happened to prompt the shootings. Reporters at the scene have confirmed seeing at least three people being put on stretchers. The Seattle Times reports that Tyler Parsons, who was working at Victrola Coffee Shop at the corner of Pine and 3rd when the incident occurred. The shop is inside a larger retail and office space and the 25-year-old saw two victims, one outside lying in front of the building, injured but alive and moving, while the other was in the lobby against a security desk.
