The National Weather Service said widespread showers and storms are expected through early Saturday afternoon. “Two waves of rain and storms are rolling into central parts of North Texas,” said KXAS-TV (NBC5) meteorologist Brian James. “Heavy rain and possible flooding will be the main threat. Watch for occasional lightning too. A tornado watch was issued Saturday for Central Texas until 6 p.m. That includes Bell, Bosque, Falls, Freestone, Hill, Lampasas, Leon, Limestone, McLennan, Milam and Robertson counties. All this rain is from Tropical Storm Sergio in the Pacific.
