Here’s a partial transcript of their conversation, which has been edited for clarity. Burnett started by talking with Kelly about how much time he spends with President Trump: John Kelly: I do spend a huge amount of time with him. Now, less so today. When I when I got here there was a lot of work to be done organizational work to be done. So I spent every minute with him. But that was to train the staff as to how to interact with the president because it was that needed to be done and to organize how people interact with the president in the Oval Office.
