THIS is the dramatic moment a Good Samaritan tackled a homeless man who punched two elderly women to the ground. The savage assault came without warning as the two women – aged 77 and 79 – left a New York grocery on Sunday, which is Mother’s Day in the US. CCTV footage shows Andres Flores, 45, punching the two women before being chased down and beaten to the ground by a man known only as Michael, who is also thought to be homeless. Flores is seen knocking one woman to the ground in a seemingly unprovoked attack before attacking the next, who appears to raise her walking stick to defend herself. “I was walking down the block minding my business, and the guy over there, he hits the old lady, she hits her head on the glass and knocks out,” Michael, 35, told the New York Daily News. “He hits her friend coming out of the store. Basically I just chased him and held him down till the cops got here. “He gave resistance, but he’s incarcerated now. You gotta do what you gotta do,” Michael added.
